A+ Job. Zach and his painters really knew what they were doing and were super friendly. I've referred them multiple times because of how professional they are. They didn't even use painters did and did an amazing job, which is a sign of a good painter. They weren't the cheapest but weren't the most expensive either. They can work with you. I've even texted him for random painting advice questions and he always gets back quickly.
Fine Finishes did a great job painting our kitchen cabinets! They were meticulous and conscientious about their work. The crew put a lot of care into taping off and covering all floors, walls, etc. to make sure paint only got on the cabinets. This made for a really sharp and clean finish!

I reached out to Fine Finishes after noticing our hallway paint job which was done by a different painter 6 months ago was already looking in poor condition. I was called back immediately and had an appointment for an estimate scheduled the next day. Fine Finishes told me what the previous painters did wrong. I scheduled them to do some new painting and to fix what the previous painters did wrong. Fine Finishes did a great job painting a very steep stairway as well as correcting all the issues with the prior paint job. I would have saved a lot of time and money if I just went with Fine Finishes in the first place. The other painter was a corporate franchise painter, these seem to be the ones that come to the top of the list when you google search, I would research further via thumbtack or other service provider apps or just use Fine Finishes.
Requested the interior of my newly built home to be painted in a dark tan color. As you can imagine I was a nervous wreck having this kind of work completed; especially since we hadn’t even moved in yet. However, they did an amazing job and even finished earlier than we discussed. I would highly recommend!

The owner Mr. Bowen was recommended to me by my realtor when I purchased my first home in Feb 2021. We met in person and went over my requests, he was very detailed in how he would perform the job so I knew what would be going on in my house while not there. He kept me updated when there were delays and sent me pictures of his progress. The finished product was great and I was very pleased ! When I needed some touch-ups he came right back and handled it quickly. He went above and beyond. Definitely hire him!
Zack just completed a large project at our home and I must say, it’s the best painting I’ve ever had and the best service I’ve ever had from a painter and his crew. My house looks brand new inside again and it’s 22 years old. The skill and talent that he has is just amazing, highly recommend this company!
I've owned several homes and have contracted numerous painters for various paint jobs. Zack and his team are by far the best and most professional painters I've hired. Zack is extremely meticulous and skillful with his craft. He over delivered AND absolutely exceeded my expectations. Not only do I recommend his service, I intend to only use him when I need to hire a painter. Well deserving of a five star rating!!!
I had bought a really expensive set of RH outdoor furniture. The delivery drivers put in some really bad scratches upon delivery and I needed the original powder coat black paint matched by Fine Finishes Custom Painting. Zach came out promptly and did an absolutely perfect job matching the black and when the paint dried, it was like new.
Zach was awesome through the whole process and the value couldn't be matched.

Working with Zach was terrific! I recently had my kitchen cabinets painted, as well as some walls in some interior rooms (going from black or navy to a light gray). The workmanship was too notch and high quality all around! The cabinets being white have completely transformed the look of my downstairs. No brush marks and due to it being sanded and sprayed, everything looks smooth the best job I’ve seen on painted cabinets. Zach was so extremely easy to communicate with and so thorough in his explanation of everything. On top of that, he was patient with the millions of questions I had. He went above and beyond and would even give me insight and knowledge into other questions I would ask (first time homeowner here). Pricing was more reasonable than other quotes I got, and the job was completed in a very timely manner. Go with Zach; you will not be disappointed! I know the next time I need some more painting done, I will not hesitate in calling him.
Zach and Frank painted the entire interior of our new house in the time frame they originally estimated, and they did a fantastic job. They have an amazing attention to detail and went out of their way to clean up sloppy painting from previous paint jobs the house had. Not only that, but Zach's responsiveness is the best of any professional or contractor I've worked with -- and you can't beat his price either. I highly recommend Fine Finishes!
I wasn’t sure who to hire to paint the remodel my wife and I had done to our kitchen. We had 4 contractors come to our home. The most personable and knowledgeable about paint colors to make our home more of a home was Mr. Bowen and his team. We felt completely safe and comfortable while we were at work that Fine Finishes would make the picture that my wife and I had in our heads come to life!!…..THEY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!!!!!! Zach is the best! We have used him for other projects and always refer his work to friends- he is always very professional with his work and etiquette. He helped me find the perfect color for my master bath, and he did some cosmetic work that needed to be done. He did a wonderful job with everything including my ceiling that needed some repair work. If you want a great painter who goes over and beyond, most definitely consider his service.

Fine Finishes did an excellent job on a large interior painting project. With almost 6,000sf of living space to be painted, they worked hard to get everything accomplished in a two week timeframe. There were even some issues that arose from another contractor and Zach, Frank, and Dre stepped in to correct the issues for me. I'm pleased with the outcome and Zach and his team will be in my contact list for future projects.
I found Fine Finishes doing a Google search which made me very nervous not having a personal referral. However, I read the reviews and was surprised at the number of happy customers. Zach was a pleasure to work with went above and beyond for us. Our builder destroyed our stairs and they had to be sanded down and re-stained. Problem is…the stair people refused to paint the riser because it was too much detail work. Frank came out and did a spectacular job. He was friendly, took his time giving amazing attention to detail, and to be honest…I kinda want him to repaint our whole house. 😂 I’m beyond happy and so grateful to others that left great reviews. Thanks for everything Zach and Frank!

Zach did a great job renewing our staircase, touching up cabinets, baseboards, and wall paint. This is the 4th time he has helped us with a project and never disappoints .
Zach and his team were great! They replaced the wood columns in my deck with cellular PVC and painted the deck. I was very particular about making sure we covered everything and not get paint anywhere and they came through. Zach will pay attention to details you provide him and make sure things get done appropriately. Everything came out great, Zach is a pleasure to work with!
Zach and Frank came out and painted two rooms for us. He was very accommodating when trying to work us in. He let me know that he had some major upcoming jobs and would do his best to complete the job. We did most of our communication over text, and that was helpful for me when comparing other painters quotes. As far as value, he was right where we needed him to be, and affordable compared to others. He made sure to keep me informed during every step and showed up on time! I'm sure that we made it easier because we had already done some prep and had our colors picked out. There was some cigarette smell brought in from outside, highly dislike. We had to ask for a couple touch-ups even before he left, but he had no issues whatsoever with making it right. I can also appreciate that he came to the door masked. Thanks to Zach for getting this done for us so quickly! Highly recommended all around.

Zach and his team at fine finishes did a great job on a large and complex job, with cabinets, walls and custom furniture pieces. He and his team were always supportive of notes during walkthroughs and willing to make sure all the finest details were correct. Though it took a few extra days, we are extremely happy with the results!
Zach completed our church parsonage, a two story brick House with a large deck. There were eight areas of rotten wood and a lot of detail. He did an exceptional job inspite if having to dodge frequent rain. The house looks very attractive now. Thanks!
They are great! They scraped off pop corn ceiling at our hotel and repainted the ceiling and beams in our lobby (Comfort Inn Matthews). Everything was done on time and in professional manner. Would hire them again and recommend them.

Zach did a great job, on our bathroom of our new home, when the wife didn't like the color. So good of a job we called him a week ago or so later to do the two story entry way. And a third time for our living room, the prices are reasonable, that's why I had to put him in my preferred section in my phone.
We had a wonderful experience overall! Communication was exceptional and Zach helped fit us in a busy schedule. The painting was done efficiently and looks perfect. We would highly recommend using them for any job!
They did a great job communicating arrival times and progress towards completing the project. The project was completed on time and in good order and they did a good job cleaning everything up before the left.
Wish I could give 10/5 stars. Zachary truly goes above and beyond in the work that he does. Not only do my cabinets look great, but Zachary was always very responsive and easy to work with throughout this process. I got quotes from a few different companies, and while Zachary’s was not the cheapest, it was also not the most expensive, and he was by far the one who put in the most effort and communication even before the job was started, and that effort continued for the duration of the project. My kitchen cabinet job was smaller than the ones Zachary is used to doing, but he always made me feel very appreciated as a customer. He went above and beyond and met me at sherwin Williams and then at my home to test some cabinet paint colors before I even gave him a dime. Please find me someone else who would do that *spoiler alert, you can’t* Will be a repeat customer for years to come. It is no surprise to me his business has a 5 star rating.

This is our second review of Fine Finishes. They have just completed an indoor project of walls, trim, cabinets, and ceilings. As we said in our previous review, we are extremely impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of Zach and his crew. Part of this project was correcting errors of previous painters. So frustrating, but thankful that Fine Finishes was able to correct the errors along with the other painting duties.
Excellent service! The owner responded to my inquiry almost immediately, came out to do a quote and had his team there and painting my entire townhome the next business day. From the first email to project completion was just one week. I definitely recommend Fine Finishes!

We called on Zach to help us get our house ready before it went on the market. Zach was able to work us into his schedule on short notice. Zach did a fantastic job for a couple of projects we had for the Dustin Johnson Golf Tournament in Myrtle beach and the World Golf Tournament also held in Myrtle Beach. The work he did is still holding up strong.
